In modern industrial production, the field of AC drive has become the main form of transmission. The motor control system has higher requirements in modern industrial production. In order to make the motor have higher accuracy, wider speed range, faster response speed and strong disturbance rejection capability of the motor itself. Its control strategy has become a very popular research direction. View from the motor itself, compared to other AC motors, permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM) has small size, low loss, high efficiency and many excellent characteristics, as well as in production of energy saving and environmental protection, its research is necessary. Therefore, the research of high-performance PMSM control system has very important significance to modern industrial and social sustainable development.The project began the study surrounding the Hamiltonian model of PMSM. First it introduced the relevant history of PMSM. Then it introduced the mathematical model of PMSM and some related mathematical coordinate transformation, these are the basics of follow-up study. The main part is the solution for control system and solutions for simulation and physical experiments.In this thesis, two PMSM control systems are studied, first it carried out the most commonly used motor control methods of field oriented control based on PI regulator; then the main core of this study for the motor control algorithm, which is based on Hamilton model of motor control algorithm, is studied, Using interconnection and damping assignment of passivity based control (IDA-PBC) released the equation of the motor controller and proved the asymptotic stability of the system. Firstly, the control strategy was simulated by simulink to study the control performance through debugging some parameters and watching each parameter on system performance. Then with a better result in the simulation, DSP program of the control algorithm was developed on the experimental board, which was connected to the actual motor to verify the effectiveness of the algorithm and the control performance in real system. The simulation result showed that the motor control performance of algorithms based on Hamiltonian control was very superior. By comparing with other methods' simulations, motor control system using the Hamiltonian theory had the best control performance, and the designed controller was simple, with few parameters, and the meaning clear and simple adjustment. Through the actual motor control experiments with DSP control system showed that the control method had good static and dynamic performance, proved the actual effectiveness of the control method.
