The paper is mainly to develop a set of bulk carrier stowage system based on Densitified Table of Offsets. At present, there are little application about Densitified Table of Offsets, which are used in loading computer in this paper. Based on the Table of Offsets, coding VC++program to establish high precision Three-dimensional database of the ship. Verifying the accuracy and completeness of the database through the OpenGL visualization and calculation of Hydrostatic Performances. Based on this database, completing the calculation of Floatation, Stability and Draft Survey. By using of D-P algorithm to optimize the original database data, it can reduce the amount of calculation, and keep the real-time character of the system. Solving method of ship in free floating state is given, and calculation examples are validated. Compared to the conventional calculation method, its calculation accuracy is higher. Using S-H polygon clipping algorithm in computer graphics to calculate ship underwater and water plane geometry elements. Compared the calculation results with values which are given in the Loading Manual, suggesting its high precision and good generality. Completed the calculation of intact stability of warships, including constant displacement method and the variable displacement method. The application of the three-times quasi-uniform-rational B-spline makes the stability curves drawn more smooth and gets a good result. Due to limitations of traditional Draught Survey method, The paper proposes an improved method to radically reduce Draft Survey errors. Finally, to make the program more user-friendly, introducing Digital Loading Manual module, two-dimensional visualization stowage module, three-dimensional display module and Intelligent Speech module.The bulk carrier stowage system based on densitified table of offsets has advantages of high precision, good versatility, good human-computer interaction, can be used for marine applications, and has important theoretical and practical value.
