An electromagnetic vibration feeder is widely used in the areas of automatedproduction. It is always the major problem that the choice and matching of the mainparameters were not the same for the supplies with different shapes, mass, materials,frictional characteristics and transport requirements, and it is the main causes of lowtransport efficiency, heavy noise and instable feeder speed. So it is necessary to analyze thefeeder structure and establish the kinematics model with a theoretical method to find theoptimum matching among parameters.The paper analyzed the effect of the electromagnetic force of a feeder on amplitudeand of the amplitude on the moving methods of the supplies and transport speed after thestudy of the research achievement on electromagnetic vibration feeder at home and abroad.By establishing the kinematics model, the effect of the amplitude on the transport methodsof the supplies was analyzed, the computational formula for the average moving speed ofthe supplies was deduced, the choosing method of the moving parameters was provided.By establishing the kinematics model, the choosing methods of the optimum frequencyratio and kinetic parameters were provided. By deducing the computational formula of thefeeder’s electromagnetic force, the choosing method of electromagnetic parameters wasprovided. Finally, the feasibility of the models and choosing methods was testedexperimentally.The focus in the paper is on the computational method of electromagnetic force undervarious exciting modes of electromagnetic vibration feeder, particularly, the detailedanalysis of the relationship between the electromagnetic force with anharmonic wave andfiring angle. This can be acted as a reference to the analysis and computation ofelectromagnetic force for designing a feeder.
