Study On Rucheng Ancient Shrine Landscape Cultural

Rucheng is located in the south of Hunan, among the Hunan, Guangdong and Jiangxi. Since Tang and Song dynasties, it attracts many people from other provinces to settle in this place because of suitable climate and abundant resource, followed a variety of multi-cultural affect each other. For the reason of inaccessible, and people who are honest, the landscape of ancestral halls are protected very well; what is more, the number of ancestral halls is very large, and centralized distribution, so they have a high research value. But in the past years, few of people put their attention on the ancestral halls of Rucheng, therefore, I make a research from landscape culture, so as to rich the knowledge of ancestral halls of Rucheng, and provide some measure and proposal for sustainable development and protection of the ancestral halls of Rucheng.This paper takes ways of interview with local residents and field research,to carry out the detail information of ancestral halls. Surveying and mapping the current situation of distribution and protection.Using reference method to study the meaning of the landscape and cultural connotation.Using comparative analysis, compare the cultural landscape of the the Rucheng ancient ancestral halls with the domestic cultural landscape of the ancient shrine study,so as to summarize the characteristics and direction of development of the of Rucheng ancient ancestral landscape culture; findings are as follows:(1) Through field research and mapping learned:there are700ancestral halls which was built in the Ming and Qing dynasties, of which80%were located within10kilometers of the center of the county. And now, there are12ancient ancestral halls have been included in the provincial cultural relics protection units, at the same time,7ancient ancestral halls have been included in the provincial historical and cultural village core protected building; which have much value of development.(2) Through research depth ancient ancestral halls of Rucheng, interviewing with local residents and the protection of cultural relics department. Summary the result that Rucheng ancient ancestral halls landscape and cultural landscape pattern focuses on siting, toward; unique architectural style; rich in history and culture; diversity of folk rituals features, and so on.(3)Set Rucheng Zhou ancestral hall for example, take the method of semantic differential (SD method),to evaluate of landscape resources, summing up that this place is lack of management measure and infrastructure and so on.The results of the study show that the ancestral halls of Rucheng are rich in landscape and cultural resources, but due to few of money, lack of management measure and other issues, that the current development and protection is not in place. In order to promote the development of Rucheng landscape and cultural resources, it should start from attract protection funds, and increase publicity efforts.
