In recent years, there is a lot of development in heterotypic spatial plate and shell structure in scientific research and engineering practice field. Compared with the flat structure, it has many unique characteristics, such as space stressed, modeling complex, flexibility of interior space. This text is based on the experimental research, analyzed the characteristics of mechanical behavior of the Heterotypic Spatial Plate and Shell Structure. Three aspects of the heterotypic spatial plate and shell structure are researched mainly:(1)This article take the Mao Zedong youth art sculpture of JuZiZhou as background, design three special-shaped spatial shell structure models to conduct model test. The first model is used to study the change of stress and strain of the cylinder wall and the affections of the core wall transverse horizontal clapboard to global stability and of structure, the second model is used to determine under loads how the stress distribution changed of the3D shell and the affections of the horizontal reinforcing plates on behaviors of structure. the three model main is used to research the strength and the characteristic of deformation of short shear walls, frame columns and the maintenance of shell. Obtaining crack load and ultimate load of the three models from experimental studies. Some experimental phenomena are analyzed under vertical load of the experimental models, such as structural deformation, concrete strain, steel-bar strain and crack distribution. The mechanical properties of the Heterotypic Spatial Plate and Shell Structure are analyzed and then the practical application for the project is proposed.(2) The finite element models are tested by load on the vertical direction which applied to simulate experiment. The finite element models are tested by load on the vertical direction which applied to simulate experiment, studying the displacement, the stress and strain analysis chart, deformation of structure, the crack distribution of the models under the cracking load and the load-displacement curve of some nodes. On the one hand, the finite element analysis is the supplement to the test analysis, on the other hand, from the comparison of computer analysis with experimental results, the finite element model is more accurate and this work made a base for the further study in the future.(3) Using the finite element model3as the basic model to do structural properties of the stress and the resistance to deformation analysis on the different parameters which may affect the structure such as structural strength grade of concrete, section size of frame column, thickness of internal shear wall and thickness of outer shell etc. It has a significant influence for the resistance to deformation of structure, such as structural strength grade of concrete, outer shell upper folding dip angles and thickness of outer shell. It has a significant influence for the bearing capacity of structure, such as structural strength grade of concrete, outer shell upper folding dip angles, frame column section size and hear wall thickness. These conclusions provide theoretical basis and practical reference for design and construction of the Heterotypic Spatial Plate and Shell Structure.At last, the main work of this thesis is summarized and more research work that needs to be done is also brought forward.
