With the widely application of the power electronic devices, the harmonic pollution, the power grid problem of idle work and so on, have become increasingly prominent.Matrix Converter facilities can solve those problems,so that Matrix converter facilities developed very rapidly in recent years. Matrix converter is a kind of good performance of power converter, and allow a single stage transformation frequency, without the large energy capacity components, the input power factor nearly close to one and can be adjusted freely and energy can be flowed by two-way. Matrix converter is itself a flexible, universal power converter, and it can be the evolution of a variety of electric power converter topology structure.This paper studies a kind of Matrix Converter,that is Matrix Rectifier.It can change AC Voltage to DC Voltage. It include the characteristics of general Matrix Rectifier,but still different from the the Matrix Rectifier’s features.In the paper,design of Matrix Rectifier is the important.The switch modules composed by two RB-IGBTS(Reverse Blocking Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor).The method combined the computer simulation and hardware experiment,deeply study the Matrix Rectifier which can work in four quadrant.1. It deduces the mathematical model of Matrix Rectifier on the theory basis. By analyzing the modulation ways, it builds the space vector modulation model of control system,and deduces a Scheme of current change by four steps.Use Matlab/Simulink software to establish a simulation model.And obtained the simulation waveform which reach the same as anticipate.It provides an effective way for the analysis and design of Matrix Rectifier.2. In theory and simulation result indicate that the Matrix Rectifier which based on space sector modulation way and Four steps current change have powerful facility and stability. DSP IC TMS320F28335from TI company and XC95762XL from Silinx company build tow cores system for control,make the hardware platform of experiment.The software designed in the environment of CCS and ISE.And also design PCB by Altium Designer Winter09. The result of hardware system experiment as the same as simulation by computer.lt testify the correct and valid of theory.The paper also show that there are stronger feasibility and reality for hardware system scheme.And this scheme provide testimony for reach in future.
