With the increasingly depleted of traditional energy, aggravated environment pollution, windpower, solar power, tidal power etc renewable energy have an increasingly proportion of ournation energy. And with the volatility of renewable energy, the out put of renewableenergy is also undulation, which brings the adversely affect to the security andstability of power grid, even lead to the power grid splitting. How to improve thestability of wind power and renewable energy, enlarge the accommodate wind farmpower etc renewable energy gradually becomes an research focus.Energy storage to stabilize the wind power out put is effective measures, andwith vanadium redox flow battery excellent charge and discharge characteristics,low-cost, long life, easy installation and maintenance advantages, the VRB stand outin a variety of chemical batteries, and widely range application&promotion(1) Based on PSCAD/EMTDC, wind farm&grid-connected VRB were build,and analysis the stability of wind farm after it added with the energy storage systemwhen there is a large volatility.(2) Based on PSASP energy storage model was build, and connected to the PCCof wind farm, after that connected the whole system to Xinjiang a regional power grid,by the digital simulation of the regional power grid, find out the lest capacity ofenergy storage which could stability a unstability power grid with great than limitpenetration power wind farm, and anlysis the frequency, power angle, voltage,provide certain theoretical basis for renewable source connected to power grid andimprove its stability.The paper relies on Science and Technology ministry “The International Scienceand Technology Cooperation special funding” project number,172013DFG61520,"International Science&Technology Cooperation Program of China ""efficient andreliablewind power generation systemkey technologiesfor collaborative research,"aregionin Xinjiangpower grid,forwind powerand energy storageaccesswere studied,has a certain practicalsignificance.
