With the vigorous development of urban rail transportation, communication technology, information technology and train control technology are continuously improving. At the same time, because of increasing demand for subway travel, travel safety, punctuality and convenience requirements to be improved. Therefore, studying the key technology of train operation control is a great significance to improve the security and reliability of the entire operation control system. In recent years, communication-based train control (CBTC) system has been proven to be a new development of the rail transit train operation control system. Database application system as a part of its core, is responsible for providing the necessary real-time data to CBTC subsystems and external system, while real-time recording system operating status and train running information. At the same time the large number of complex system data management and sharing is important guarantee for traffic safety.Building the database application platform is one of the basic work of establishment of the CBTC system, it can provide a convenient research environment for train operation control system researchers. It can also provide reliable data for assessment of the actual line system. Researchers can also use it to test system performance merits of the criteria. Therefore, the study of the subject has a great and far-reaching significant.In this paper, the research of communication-based train control system (CBTC system) focuses on CBTC database applications. According to the CBTC high security, stability, reliability and real-time requirements, database was created. Firstly, the role of the cbtc database was analyzed in this thesis. Exhaustive requirements of storagingand management were proposed. Secondly, from the angle of Storing data information and the system user checking the system operating conditions as well as system maintainability requirements database was modeled and designed. Thirdly, the high security and stability of the AIX operating system, large-scale relational database management system Oracle database and Pro*C development tools were used to develop the database and provide database manipulation for CBTC system. Finally, the event logging, data downloading, data report analysis and data sharing of CBTC database system were completed by using the object-oriented C++languagewas.
