Along with recent reforms and more open policies, our country is in a period of rapid development. All kinds of engineering activities have become increasingly frequent. The most important factor in project activities is our geological environment, how to fully and accurately understand the engineering geological conditions is an important mission for a geological staff. With the development of computer science, more and more3D geological modeling software and rock analysis software have been developed. Engineering geological staff begin to think of how to put these new applications of science and technology into the traditional geological survey, to make up for the shortcomings of the traditional geological survey, in order to improve the exploration ability and the quality of engineering geological evaluation. In this paper, advanced technology with the international professional3D geological modeling software GOCAD (Geological Object Computer Aided Design) was used. With the geological investigation data for metro line1West in Zhengzhou City, the3D geological model was establish, which was based on Metro Line1of Kaixuan Road station at Henan University of Technology and the geology on both sides of the Metro Line1in Zhengzhou City. Based on the3D geological model, a model of the geological parameters was also built, which was mainly aimed at modulus of compression and the characteristic value of the ground bearing capacity that would have a great impact on the engineering design and construction. Finally, through the comparison and analysis of the reserved borehole drilling and actual drilling data, the accuracy and the feasibility of the model was proved. Use of arbitrary section technology on the model of15m and26m levels for the line1which cut across the3D geological model. They displayed the rock distribution characteristics at different depths for evaluation and analysis, and were analyzed and evaluated. This could provide the reference for foundation evaluation for the multi-storey and high-rise buildings in the same area, and play a guiding role in the design and construction of Zhengzhou City, Metro Line1.In the paper, three-dimensional geological model and geological the parameters model could be used as the geological database of Zhengzhou subway line1, which could extract lithologic information of many holes at any time. The uneven distribution and discontinuous geological information could be convent into a visual, continuous, regular three-dimensional geologic model, and can quickly generate an engineering geological map (profile, flat section), which provides a new way and method for engineering geological evaluation. Therefore, the use of three-dimensional geological model can improve the traditional research methods.
