In recent years,with the rapid development of the national economy,China has made remarkable achievements in the field of transportation infrastructure construction.As a control project in the field of transportation infrastructure construction,tunnel engineering has put forward more and more high requirements for the technology of excavation during construction period and maintenance during operation period while the construction complexity is increasing.However,in the actual tunnel engineering,geological structure is complex and geological information is numerous.Faced with a large number of traditional two-dimensional drawings,it is difficult for ordinary geologists and tunnel designers and constructors to understand the overall geological situation around the tunnel fully,accurately and directly,so it is inevitable that difficulties and mistakes will be brought to the construction of tunnel engineering.Therefore,the traditional two-dimensional engineering geological method is no longer suitable for the rapid development of railway construction,and the visualization technology of three-dimensional geological modeling and tunnel model emerges as the times require.Three-dimensional geological modeling is to build a digital model based on various original geological data,which can reflect the structural form,structural relationship and the changing law of internal attributes of geological bodies.Through proper visualization,three-dimensional geological modeling can show the virtual real geological environment.Based on this,the whole process of three-dimensional geological modeling and the modeling method based on section contour are deeply studied in this paper.In view of the shortcomings of several commonly used local optimization methods,A method for normalized reconstruction of three-dimensional geological body surface model in the form of complex cross-section contour is proposed;The topological relations between all geometric elements in the model are established by the connection algorithm between the stratigraphic block units of the same attribute of the geological body;Secondly,the tunnel excavation modeling algorithm is deeply studied in this paper.After pre-processing the profile of tunnel section,the work of creating three-dimensional tunnel model in geological models has been completed.Finally,in order to display the three-dimensional tunnel geological model intuitively and vividly,the three-dimensional visualization technology has been studied,and in the three-dimensional component library environment built on OSG and Qt,the visualization functions such as rotation,scaling of the model and hierarchical display of the model have been realized.Three-dimensional geological modeling is a highly intersecting discipline.In this paper,the related knowledge and principles of Engineering geology,space solid geometry,computer graphics and tunnel engineering have been comprehensively utilized,and the traditional two-dimensional engineering geology research has been introduced into three-dimensional space,which has greatly improves the breadth and depth of research.As tunnel engineering is the most important part of underground engineering construction,the research of three-dimensional geological modeling and visualization technology is of great significance to increase the scientificity,rationality and safety of tunnel construction,which can meet the needs of scientific research and production practice to a large extent,and has very high research value.
