Compaction quality monitoring is assessing the quality and trend by measuring affectedfactors of Dynamic Compaction reinforcement in real time. The purpose is to ensure thereinforced effects to meet the design requirements. Currently, the mainly used monitoring methodis Penetration Method. It decides the quality of soil reinforcement by last two tamping penetrationdifference. This article relies on Middle Route Trunk SG3collapsible loess foundation treatmentworks, proposing a new method of compaction quality real-time vibration monitoring.Firstly, from the perspective of consolidation mechanism defined the propagation anddistribution rules of soil deformation energy and elastic wave energy, provided the possibility forusing vibration to judge the reinforcement quality.For further determine the relationship between vibration parameters and reinforcedparameters, we proposed a foundation reinforcement damped SDOF model and get the theoreticalexpression, proving that reinforced mass vibration monitoring is possible.Combined with the actual needs, we designed methods and steps for reinforcement test andgot the monitoring instrument configuration, line optimization and recording quality assessmentcriteria. It made a technical support for source function inversion.The goal of this method is determine the soil reinforced statement by vibration characteristics.According to frequency theory of dynamic compaction vibration, we have inversed the vibrationprocess of source point by monitoring vibration data outside. After extracting superior frequencyand peak velocity, fitting them with soil density and collapsible coefficients respectively, finallywe got the quantitative expression. Transforming them into corresponding vibration controlindicators, then we have achieved the Dynamic Compaction quality of real-time VibrationMonitoring.This research greatly improved the continuity and security of dynamic compaction, as well asprovided a strong guarantee for construction quality and economic benefits of North WaterTransfer Project.
