Lithium bromide(LiBr) aqueous solution added nano-particles and relevant dispersants shows better thermal-physics properties and its heat and mass transfer characteristics. Experimental researching about effects on surface tension and boiling characteristics of LiBr aqueous solution that added different types of solid additives based on the relation between surface tension and boiling temperature. The boiling mechanism of nano-LiBr aqueous solution have been studied in this paper. Experimental data and theoretical support about LiBr absorption refrigeration system using solid additives can be provided, and the path about effect on LiBr aqueous solution added different phase additives can be developed through this paper.Testing system of solution boiling characteristic was builded and it was made up of constant temperature system, sample placement system, data acquisition and processing system and image processing system. The theory can be discovered based on experimental phenomena that surface tension and boiling temperature of pure water, pure LiBr aqueous solution and LiBr aqueous solution that added different solid additives be tested as the point of view in this study is research the thermal-physics properties of pure substance, binary mixed solution and multicomponent mixed solution.The surface tension of LiBr aqueous solution can be reduced significantly when dispersant with hydrophilic and lipophilic properties was added in this research. And its boiling temperature can be reduced accordingly based on the boiling theory of multicomponent solution. The boiling temperature can be increased when nano-particles was added as the particles will fill up pits on heating surface that makes the nucleation of vaporization become more difficult. The boiling temperature of LiBr aqueous solution added nano-particles and its relevant dispersants depends on comprehensive influence of positive effect that surface tension reduced and negative factors that nano-particles fill up pits.The boiling bubble’s size of LiBr aqueous solution added nano-particles becomes larger obviously through high-speed camera and the size was influenced primarily by heat flow that transferred from superheated liquid to vapor-liquid interface. And the process of heating and cooling is an important step of nano-LiBr aqueous solution preparation as it shows good stability after mult-processing of heating and cooling.
