In the process of manufacturing double-curved hull plate, reasonable heating lines arrangement scheme for plate forming plays a vital role. It seriously restricts the efficiency of construction because the process has been relying on experienced workers for a long time. This paper uses the optimization algorithm to arrange the heating lines based on the distribution of the hull plate’s expanded deformation.This paper builds the optimization mathematical model according to the principle of the heating lines arrangement of the sail plate and saddle plate. It does optimized computing with the penalty function method to get the result of the heating lines arrangement including the length and position of the heating lines, the speed of the heating.This paper mainly focuses on the following two points about the way of the heating lines arrangement. Firstly, the heating lines of the saddle plate and sail plate are uniform and continuously heated. Secondly, to solve the problem of structural hard point produced in the traditional way of heating lines arrangement, this optimization method uses the way of primary and secondary heating lines to arrange the heating lines of the saddle plate. Based on the above, it can facilitate the workers and CNC equipments to do the process of lines heating and improve the processing efficiency.
