When the electric screw press is working, The flywheel, sleeve shaft and nut turn in positive and negative direction alternately and frequently together. Then the screw press produces striking force. According to the working principle of the electric screw press, the drive motor must be able to start, brake and change the direction of rotation frequently and quickly. The switched reluctance motor is just to meet these requirements, and relative to the asynchronous motor, the switched reluctance motor has bigger starting torque and smaller starting current, and it can reduce the impact of the start-up current on power. And the switched reluctance motor has many other advantages, just like simple and sturdy structure, reliable operation, high efficiency, low temperature rise and so on. Therefore, A switched reluctance motor drive servo system dedicated to electric screw press was designedBased on the analysis of structure and working process of the switched reluctance motor screw press, be clear about the control direction of the switched reluctance motor. And then abstracts the linear model of switched reluctance motor, analyze the mechanical equation and electrical contact equation of the motor and control theory of switched reluctance motor. And then the central task scheduler, EABS braking, acceleration control system, position and ejection device control subsystem of the motor servo control system are analyzed in detail, and clear the control structure and control theory of the whole system.The hardware and software system of the switched reluctance motor servo system dedicated to the screw press had been designed after analyzing the control and working principle of the switched reluctance motor and the working principle and work process of the electric screw press. In the paper, analyze the composition of the hardware system whose control core is based on DSPIC33FJ128MC706, and analyze the central controller circuit, the signal acquisition and processing circuit, the power converter circuit, the position sensor circuit, fault protection and keyboard settings circuit and so on in details. Finally, A22KW prototypes was designed, and make preliminary experiments in the field.
