Multimodal container transport is a transport mode aiming at achieving benefit optimization of integrated goods transportation which has been fully utilized in our country. Intermodal transportation has been changed from single mode to door-to-door, which takes advantage of varieties modes. Therefore, careful studies on system optimization of Chinese multimodal container transport, especially coordinating transportation between different modes are needed according to its current development. Now, in the study for intermodal transport, some studies only from one of multimodal time or cost to build the model Some studies have ignored the transit time and transit costs; Some studies has assumed the transit time and transit costs are fixed, which ignored the differences between different deport. This paper has calculated the transport time and cost, transit time and transit cost, in order to research its influence on the optimal selection of transport path and transport modes. Finally, the paper analysis the solving results in order to discover rules and guide practice. In the inland container intermodal transportation system, transshipment time and cost in the choosing of the route and modes of transportation can not be ignored. Based on the characteristics of transit between different modes in deport, transshipment time function was established, and0-1integer programming model was constructed based on cost minimum and time minimum as the target functions, then the model can be solved in the way of transferring the time to generalized cost. The paper analyzes the calculation examples, and compare the best path in different quantities, and compare the best path without considering the transit time and cost. The results show that, the best path in full consideration of the transit time and cost will be more useful, which supplies assistant to operator and the owner of goods in choosing the path and mode of multimodal transport.
