Study On Railway Container Multimodal Transport Scheme Optimization With Time Windows

Railway transportation is one of the important transportation modes, it has played a key role in the national comprehensive transportation system. But in recent years, because of the national economic structure adjustment and economic downward pressure, traditional competitive advantages of railway transportation are falling day by day, and railway transportation faces a lot of challenges. Railway freight volume declined 2 years, the freight volume in 2015 has 11.9% drop compared to last year, and the market share dropped to 8.1%. In order to enhance the market competitiveness of railway freight service, the China Railways Corporation actively promotes the reform of railway freight business, and at the same time the railway container transport service is developed rapidly. Especially in recent years, the development of Central European trains transportation products and Central Asia trains transportation products, not only opens the international market for China’s railway freight service, as well as provides some ideas and references to how to increase the railway freight volume and railway freight service income of the company.Container transportation is a main development direction of future transport mode, and it has convenient, safe, efficient, environmental protection and many other characteristics. So it is preferred by highway transportation, railway transportation and waterway transport. It also provides great convenience for the multimodal transport of goods. Last several years, railway freight transportation was developed slowly, but railway container freight volume maintained rapid growth. In order to meet the increasingly diversified needs of customers, ensure the timeliness and the high efficiency of the railway container transport, and increase the benefits of railway freight enterprise, based on the comprehensive analysis of the research status of railway container transport at home and abroad, we find out the problems existing in the railway container multimodal transport development in China, and make the SWOT analysis of Chinese railway container multimodal transport; Analyzing the influence factors of railway container multimodal transport, and formulating the optimization principle of railway container multimodal transport scheme, then the railway container multimodal transport scheme optimization process and the method are given; Combined with the influence factors of railway container multimodal transport, we set up a railway scheme optimization model of container intermodal transport with time windows, and design the solving algorithm based on Lingo software; Finally, we construct a railway container multimodal transport network, which is used to carried out the simulation for the model solution, and the simulation results validate the reliability and practicality of the model.
