Wind energy resources, It is very valuable resource for large ocean-going ship. By installing wing-aid device based on the traditional ship to effectively utilize wind energy, can make the ship comply with energy saving, environmental protection trend.To make full using of wind energy, requires a combination of ocean wind field characteristics to its design applies wing shape and a reasonable control strategy needs to be adjusted automatically go to the top windward wing angle. It also needs to study the changes of original control system after installed the wind-assist power system on the wing Ship.This paper introduces the structural characteristics of a kind of ship wing, and analyzes its working principle and operating characteristics of sails from the view of airfoil design, further, accordingly put forward wing control algorithm and establish a Wing-Diesel-Ship control model so-called "Decision-Angle Control". This paper also discusses some questions of the "decision-layer" of "Decision-Angle Control" system.In order to carry out further research, this paper also describes a hydraulic control system based on controlled experiments wing platform design, by calculating the hydraulic system components selection, through mathematical modeling of the hydraulic system characteristics were analyzed using the EPEC controller wind wing rotation mechanism, the use of IEC61131-3standard ST programming language specified in the PID regulator wing angle. CAN bus is designed to connect PC and the EPEC controller, and in the VS2012environment using VB.NET language of the PC software.Through the basic research of Wing-Diesel-Ship control system, we establish the based framework of a wind assist ship control system and explore the way of designing a wing control unit by studying of the experiment platform.
