With the steady development of spiritual civilization, construction of stadiums and gymnasiums have great explosion in recent years, which promote the development of large-span steel structure. Large-span steel structure has many advantages, such as rational mechanical property, attractive appearance, fast construction, lightweight and good comprehensive utilization, which make it develop rapidly. However, generally large-span steel structure has complicated structure and dynamic characteristics, great construction difficulty, and external factors influence its construction process mechanics. Furthermore, unreasonable construction project may lead to structural failure in the construction process. So it’s still the research hotspots in the condition of the stress of the structure under seismic action. Above all, it is necessary to do construction process simulation mechanics property analysis. This research based on Yingkou Olympic Center Stadium, using the finite element analysis software Midas Gen to simulate construction process, such as construction methods and construction sequence; to verify the feasibility of construction scheme. In order to provide theoretical basis for optimizing construction scheme and developing more reasonable construction scheme. Also it may provide the reference for the similar large-span space steel structure engineering’s safety reasonable construction. The main research content of this article is as follows.(1) Analysis of the stability and stress of truss in the process of hoisting construction; simulate changes of stress state for each bar; optimizing hoisting construction scheme; avoid hoisting construction destroying structural element.(2) Stress and strain analysis of structure in construction process; to analysis the impact of the stress change in different construction stage; to ensure that the structure can not be destroyed in construction process; to optimize the construction scheme and provide theoretical guidance for making reasonable construction scheme.(3) Structure unloading process is an important part in the construction; key link to test the construction quality and structural safety. With the falsework’s unloading process, there are significant changes in the internal force of structure and some members’ internal force will have interconversion between extrusion stress and tensile stress, besides the phenomena of stresses Redistribution is obvious. So in this study through removal process simulation, we aimed to know the stress of members in the process, in order not to destroy the structure as the internal force changes in the process and avoid to stress mutant of the structure.(4) To analysis the dynamic properties of structure, modal analysis was carried out; to analysis the natural vibration characteristics of the structure. To simulate the structure’s seismic response in the frequent earthquake, seismic defense and rare earthquake with EL-Centro, Taft and artificial seismic waves. To analysis the stress changes of structure under the effect of various seismic, which may help us find out the structure’s weak link and may provide theoretical support and feedback for structure design.
