Large span steel structure usually has a large scale and complex construction process, but at the present in large span steel structure design, the designer only make the overall calculation of the structure, with little regard to the various factors in the construction process influence on the structure, also the complex and emergency situations occurred during the construction have not be calculated and analyzed. The stress difference between structural design phase and the construction process phase led to78%collapse accident occurred in the building construction process in recent years. Therefore, the analysis in construction phase is very necessary. The analysis in construction phase can not only verify the safety on the structure, but can also help to establish the construction scheme, optimize the construction scheme.Analysis in the construction process phase must have a theoretical basis, time-varying structure theory give us weapons to analysis for the construction process phase. Analysis in construction process phase has a variety of categories, this article rely on the Taiyuan South railway station project, according the structural characteristics of the Taiyuan South railway station steel roof, using the finite element software MIDAS and ANSYS analysis three aspects in the construction process which is not only the most representative in the Taiyuan South Station, but also the most urgent need for analysis,. The analysis mainly divided into the following aspects:(1)This article has making the Taiyuan South Station construction lifting and installation process analysis. Based on the actual lifting scheme in the Taiyuan South Station construction process, Taiyuan South Station umbrella roof lifting process is divided into16construction step, by defines the construction step in MIDAS software, using the method of elements killed and alive to simulate the entire construction process. The forces and displacements in the roof bar were got through the simulation lifting process. After analyzing and comparing the results, the construction program were evaluated, the safety in the construction process is also appraised.(2)This article has making the Taiyuan South Station construction process the temporary support removal process analysis. This article according to the actual temporary support removal process, divided the temporary support removal process into40steps, using equivalent rod end displacement method and MIDAS software, whole temporary support removal process has been simulated, through simulation the forces and displacements in the roof bar during construction process has been got. After analyzing and comparing the results, the temporary support removal process scheme were evaluated, the safety in the temporary support removal process is also appraised.(3) This article has making the Taiyuan South Station temporary support analysis. The highest temporary support in Taiyuan South Station reach to32meters, in order to ensure the temporary support’s safety, first the strength of the various components of the temporary support was tested and verified by using MIDAS software, and then modeling the Taiyuan South Station temporary support in ANSYS software, carry out the nonlinear buckling analysis of the temporary support, the stable ultimate bearing capacity has been got, and made a comparison to actual situation of the temporary support.(4) Through the selecting, arranging and analysis monitoring data in Taiyuan South Station, Verify the data in construction process analysis and provides more effective data to prove the safety in Taiyuan South Station construction process, and got a better understanding in properties of mechanical in Taiyuan South Station construction process.
