Research On The Ecological Roof Greening

With the rapid development of human society, Ecological and environmental problems have become increasingly prominent. City as a Special space, densely populated, the scarcity of resources, ecological and environmental problems are more seriously. Because of the lack of available green space, building roof as an important resource of green space will be developed and utilized. For this particular form of green space, How to achieve the ecology of the green roof and to improve the urban ecological problems is an urgent problem to be solved. Thought to improve the urban ecological environment as the ultimate goal, and ecological functions of the green roof and the ecology problems of Beijing as a combination, studies the ecological effects of the green roof of Beijing. Because of green roof classification and the specific ecological effect to different, we study the specific embodiment, and then to guide the construction of ecological function of green roofs. First, we making the description of green roof classification and ecological functions as Starting point, and Combining with the specific climatic and ecological problems of Beijing, deduce the ecological efficiency of roof greening in Beijing. And then combining with the specific characteristics of each green roof, study the specific ecological effects that various types of green roofs should have. Finally, for the purpose of these ecological effects, we research how to achieve ecological efficiency of roof greening by the selection of plant and plant soil, structure design, and roof greening management.
