And China have plenty of historic villages, to be the humans’settlements, historic villages are the practice accumulation and wisdom fruit,people have to adapt and remake nature in order to live life and develop production, it is the space reflection of the specific regional and land relationship, it Is a true portrayal of the traditional culture, folk customs and architecture art, it has an important historical and cultural value, Historic village iS a result of close autarkic agriculture society and natural economy, he development of social economy and the changes of people’S life style, historic village is facing a series of problems, such as environment deterioration,vanishing of historic style, degraded residence funet ion.Wantou is a typical one in north Guangdong region. It has well-preserved natural condition,convenient, long history and local culture, richagricultural resource and the economic prosperity. All of these have created a unique style of the tradition form and space. With the develop of economic, the residential housing and facilities in Wantou have been aging in material and decline in function. the village facilities can not meet the needs to improve the modernization living conditions. In order to continue the vitality of the old village, it is necessary to reconsider the connotation of comervation and development.
