The ancient villages scatter on our country folk, reflect the history, culture and social development context. They are the history crystallization of public construction activities in special regions, are the true reflection of traditional architecture, regional culture and folk customs, are national treasure remains in folk.He-Yang historic village in Zhejiang is a historic village.it has natural landscape pattern style, lots of buildings in Ming and Qing dynasties and unique local culture tradition, which is valuable in heritage protection and cultural research. However, the morphology and ecological environment are hugely impacted by the rapid urbanization development construction and the luxurious modern way of life. As the arrival of the social transition period is coming, the ancient village protection and update working become more necessary.From the research on the historic town and village protection theory and practice at home and abroad we can see that, the research on ancient villages protection and practice at abroad has good foundation and starts early, but late in our country. It remains on the primary stage, and especially too less in empirical studies. It also ignores the overall protection of historical environment and cuts social development and villagers living apart in many ancient village protection and construction frequently. To solve these problems, this paper makes He-Yang historic village in Jinyun Zhejiang as the research object, which has the reputation of"the foremost ancient dwellings in southern area of Yangtze River". From the angle of historical environment and overall protection of historical villages in out country, this article analyses and sums up nature environment, artificial environment and humanity environment characteristics of He-Yang historic village, does some deep research on landscape patterns, streets patterns, architecture styles and traditional culture, and proposes the strategy of protection planning research on ancient villages as He-yang.Through the thinking on protection of He-yang ancient village, the author offers a proposal to the current common problems in ancient village protection and renewal in our country. Be different from general strategy, it makes update protection, legislation protect, promote function, perfect market mechanism and community participation in public behavior as the general principle and content of series protect in the premise of emphasizing integral protection consciousness with original true.
