The insulin pump is a new battery-energy micro-electronic product,which is usedfor the diabetes treatment.Just like the real human pancreas, it can achieve24-hourinsulin infusion in different speed and it also can continuously infuse one or several tinydoses of insulin in accordance with need of human body. Overall, because the insulinpump is more in line with the physiology conformed, state, flexible, reliable, safe andconvenient to make blood sugar steady, it has won the favor of the growing number ofpatients and doctors.On the basis of the study on working principle, infusion ways, features andparameters of the insulin pump, this article builds the hardware modular structuredesign, which includes nine modules: central processing module which is the controlcore of the product, power module, motor drive module, detection module, clockmodule, external memory module, alarm module, display module and the keyingmodule. And then design and connect each individual modules research, design, so as tofinish the design of the insulin pump.The insulin pump is used for the accurate and stable infusion, so it is necessary tocontrol the speed of motor.However, because the working of the insulin pump isintermittent and periodic, and the rotation of "stroke" is very small very time, it is notenough to simply control motor speed.We need to control the rotation angle of the motor.In this paper, with the control of DC motors by the PIC microcontroller and motordrive,the PWM regulation speed and suitable control algorithm, rotation angle of themotor can be controlled properly so as to regulate the advancing speed of the insulin.The low-power dissipation is an important criterion to measure the performance ofelectronic products. This article tests the design of the insulin pump. Through theexperiment, put forward a low-power dissipation strategy–Double machine dormancyto ultimately achieve the purpose of the low-power dissipation. By the way, it also doessome considerations about electromagnetic compatibility.
