Inertia switch is a kind of inertia device, which has the function of sense, judgmentand execution. Switch is sensitive to acceleration, it will achieve action when theacceleration exceed the limited threshold value. And the MEMS inertia switch has thesimple structure, small volume, light weight, low consumption and distinctcharacteristics, especially is appropriate for ammunition conditions.In order to make inertia switch work safely and steady, it can be appropriate fordifferent kinds of ammunition types, different combat targets and the generalrequirements, this paper puts forward the MEMS inertia switch with the thresholdacceleration adjusted. Analyze the property of switch in the multi-physics fields, such asstatic field, acceleration field and damping field, gain the pull-in voltage, the systemstiffness expressions and "negative" spring effect in theory. Establish the mathematicsmodel of switch, gain the relation of acceleration and voltage, demonstrate theacceleration threshold tunabled.Analyze MEMS inertia switch by using system-level simulation analysis and FEMsimulation analysis With CoventorWare software. The consequence indicates that thepull-in voltage results of system-level simulation analysis and FEM simulation analysisare the same, prove system-level simulation analysis exact and reliable. This papermainly make use of the method of system-level simulation analysis to analyze,including the pull-in voltage analysis, frequency domain analysis, parameters analysis,sensitivity analysis and Monte Carlo analysis and so on.Tunable acceleration range of inertia switch designed in this paper vary from500gto2500g, the response time is141.61μs and the contact time of circuit is258.39μs in theimpact of500g sin acceleration, meet the designed requirements. If design the array ofthe switch, the effective angle can be extended to120degrees, It will achieve thefunction of multi-directional switches to solve the problem of none operation when bigangle collision.
