The Design And Implementation Of An Intelligent Test System For Electric Bicycle Driving Controller

In this article, a smart test system is designed which can be used to measure andcontrol quality for the electric bicycle traveling controller. This test system can be able toresolve inaccurate test data, low test efficiency, test data can’t saved effectively, whichcaused by human factors in traditional electric bicycle traveling controller testing process.The article first analyzes the working principle of electric bicycle controller and thework styles of functional blocks. According to the work styles of the various functionalblocks, test methods are developed, then the article give the hardware circuitimplementation of all test blocks. The electric bicycle controller intelligent test systemconsists of test terminal and PC test software. Test terminal is responsible for all functionmodule testing and data collection, returning the collection data to the PC test software; PCtest software is the user interface which runs on PC machine, provides test operation forthe test person, sends the test instructions and analysis the test data. The paper also givesthe test terminal overall firmware design and the detailed description of firmware how tocoordinate the work of terminal hardware circuits to achieve functional test of drivingcontroller. The communication between the test terminal and the PC test software isachieved by the RS485communication protocol. In order to guarantee the accuracy ofcommunication between test terminal and PC test software, a communication protocolwhich is composed of command frame and data frame for receiving and transmitting isdesigned and implemented in this thesis. Instruction frame is sent to the test terminal by PCtest software, commands the test terminal to execute blocks testing; data frame whichcontains test data is sent to the PC software by test terminal, analyzed by test software.This subject implement the test terminal hardware and software design, PC testsoftware design and communication protocol design, also make a prototype andexperimental verification. Finally come to the conclusion that the intelligent test systemhas good reliability and efficiency in product testing process.
