The composite truss-beam bridge is one of somehow new structures of bridge, and it is provided with easy maintaining, reasonable cost and high carrying capacity. The shear connectors are set up in the joint zone of steel truss girder and concrete beam In order to make the steel truss girder and concrete beam with different materials and different structures can cooperative work.In recent years, the shear connectors obtained the considerable development with the development and application of kinds of composite structures. This thesis first introduces the development, application and research status of the composite truss-beam bridge, and then introduces development situation and research status of the shear connectors and the stress characteristics, failure mode, bearing capacity formula and research method of several different types of shear connectors in common use, and at last carried out the pullout test research of the PBL shear connectors used in the Lanzhou-Xinjiang Double Lines large bridge, in addition, combined the model test and nonlinear simulation analysis. This paper mainly carried out the following aspects of work:1) Introduce the design, manufacture, experimental method and test content of the model of the pullout test.2) Use finite element analysis software to simulate the pullout test of the PBL shear connectors. In the analysis, consider the material and contact nonlinearity, and react the forced state of the shear connectors reality and at the same time analysis the mechanical properties affect of whether there are throughout reinforcements, reinforcement diameter, diameter of orifice in the steel plate and concrete strength to the PBL shear connectors.3) Analysis three groups of pullout test of the PBL shear connectors and compare to the result of simulation analysis. The result show they are good agreement with each other. Compared with the results of the pull out and push out, it shown that the background stress is tensile stress will reduce the carrying capacity of the shear connectors.
