With the Rolling Stock towards to high speed and overload development, the actual service environment of vehicle components has become much more worsen. The bogie frame endure alternating load and random load in the long term, and its safety and reliability has to be more and more attention. At present, all assessments of bogie fatigue strength and life base on equal amplitude load, and this method only to make a decision whether the bogie strength meets the fatigue strength standard, but don’t calculated the life of bogie. If we want to study the fatigue strength, the load spectrum is basis, and this thesis did the following researches about bogie frame’s load spectrum:Based on consulting plenty of domestic and foreign literature about the load spectrum and fruit of bogie frame, the thesis obtained load time history of the bogie frame’s primary load under basic condition,different wheel wear situation and fault condition by dynamic simulation. Then it finished rain-flow counting and expansion processing, and got the full load spectrums of bogie frame’s primary load.Based on the rigid-flexible coupling dynamic mode, the thesis analysed the influence of flexible bogie toward load spectrum of bogie frame, and it provides theoretical basis for analyzing fatigue strength study of bogie frame deeply.Putting the load time history from dynamic simulation as FEM mode’s input, the thesis finished transient dynamic analysis on bogie frame by using finite software ANSYS, and the response of dynamic stress of frame in different load excitation and the sensitive coefficient based on bogie’s faults were obtained. By summarizing fatigue life estimation methods for frame, the thesis presented the index of frame strength Sensitivity coefficient. The thesis studied the influence of different service condition toward frame’s fatigue strength, and it provides theoretical guidance for fatigue strength design of bogie frame.
