Intercity rail transit has regional, intercity, bus type operation characteristics, which is the guided transport infrastructure to promote regional economic development, and an important way and premise of urban agglomeration passenger traffic development. Its layout directly impacts on the overall efficiency of the intercity rail transit network, and has a greater impact on spatial structure of urban agglomeration, regional economic development, and urbanization. At the same time, station is an important place to complete the production of passenger transport and for convergence with the main line railway and urban transport, under the transport mode of bus type, it requires passengers safe, fast and convenient accessibility to the stations. Reasonable layout of the facilities within the station is conducive to the efficient operation of the bus type train and to meet the passenger demand.This paper regards intercity rail transportation as study object, systematic analysis the station layout and facilities layout from the following aspects:1.Analyze the functional orientation, the speed target of different types of trains and transportation organization mode of the intercity rail transportation; Elaborate the role and classification of station; Combine with the characteristics of intercity rail transportation to analyze the influencing factors of the layout of the station.2.Determine the station spacing range that can satisfy the vehicle’s performance, through capacity, travel speed coefficient and train interval. On this basis, determine alternative towns to construct station and give the intercity rail transit station layout schemes according to the station spacing range.3.For different schemes of station layout, Systematic study the evaluation and selection process. To "People-oriented, demand setting, technical feasibility, economic rationality" as the goal, establish the station layout evaluation system from passenger service level, cost-benefit and the social and economic benefits, and propose entropy method and multi-level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method for the inter-city rail transit station layout schemes evaluation.4.Based on the study of station layout methods and evaluation system, narrow the study objects to a specific station. The station is divided into seven functional areas according to the station functional requirements and the basic elements related to passenger flow; In accordance with the principle of facilities layout, Comprehensive analysis the major facilities layout and passenger flow for five functional areas directly related to passenger travel.
