Research On The Station Layout Of Urban Rail Transit

With the rapid development of society and economy, the traffic congestion of urban road is increasingly heavy. The urban rail transit which is large capacity and single road space, has received significant attention as well as fast development. As for the establish of urban rail transit network, half of the passenger flow could be distributed by urban rail transit, which is the symbol that urban rail transit is the foundation of a city and can release the condition of traffic congestion.The planning of station is especially important during the course of urban rail transit system planning, whose reasonability and convenience of transshipment can affect the station’s attraction power to the travelers, thus have a direct influence on passenger flow and operation benefits of the whole urban rail transit system.This paper studies rail transit station planning mainly based on layout and optimization of urban rail transit station. First of all, the passenger flow attraction scope and facility layout of station are discussed, the service ability of station is analysised; Through the analysis of urban rail transit in the characteristics of rail station, the passengers waiting time is pointed out. Then the influence of traffic demand and land use structure to the urban rail transit planning is stated, according to the collecting and distribution of passenger flow as well as the guidance of land use, macroscopic layout planning is presented on the basis of some relevant influencing factor. Furthermore, with the help of GIS, microscopic location layout of station is conducted. At last, an optimization model which is aimed at minimizing travelers’total trip cost of mass transit network under the influence of the urban rail transit, the incremental assignment based GA is used to solve this model, a numerical example is conducted to prove the reliability of this model, which can point out the middle station layout.The importance of station layout is discussed from another point of view by integration and usage of the existed studies, this paper could be a complement to the urban rail transit to some degrees.
