With the development of the high-speed railway China’s railway transportation is now developing towards high speed and high density. People also increasingly concerned about the safety of high-speed railway. Wheel rail force testing for vehicle dynamics and the theory of derailment research has important significance. In today’s various wheel-rail force measurement methods, measurement of wheelset is precisely the most effective method for continuous measurement of wheel force. As the rail with transverse irregularity and vertical irregularity, so the interaction force of wheel/rail is irregularity, time-varying. Many factors affect the measurement accuracy of the instrumented wheelset. The uniformity of the wheelset structure, process layout of wheel angular velocity, strain sensor, wheel and rail contact point position, the air humidity, has the outside temperature, electromagnetic interference and so on, will have an impact on measurement accuracy of wheel-rail force. In this paper, in view of the problems existing in the design of the instrumented wheelset, wireless wheel force measurement system of a high precision, low power consumption, small size.Based on the analysis of the interaction force between the wheel and its influence on the web strain, this paper proposes a novel, cloth bridge on the wheelset plate and shaft joint group of bridge, and presents the cloth bridge programme of the algorithm based on Kalman filtering. This paper introduces the overall design scheme of the whole system, in order to better use the instrumented wheelset of the actual use of the environment, this scheme adopts distributed structure, the whole system is composed of sensor unit, data acquisition unit, a data processing center, data processing and analysis software, and proposed in the design of the system, the need to pay particular attention to the problem, which leads to the whole thesis work to be completed. The instrumented wheelset tradition is mainly based on AD transform to achieve, which requires multiple link signal amplification, translation, filtering, analog to digital signals. This paper gave up the traditional measurement method based on AD, but the conversion of TDC technology based on PS021to complete the strain to digital signal. The measurement method of PS021, has the advantages of high measuring precision, simple peripheral circuit, easy to realize low power consumption, miniaturization.In the part of data transmission, this paper adopts the wireless transmission technology for wireless transmission network, using nanoPAN5375to build the system, it is low cost, short development cycle, high transmission speed, is a wireless transmission module of a mainstream, excellent. Finally, the wireless transmission unit of the system are tested in detail, and the static calibration experiment and dynamic experiment for measurement.
