The sluice is a low-head hydraulic structure of adjusting water level and controlling flow volume, that has got very extensive applications in water supply, flood control, shipping, power generation, irrigation and other water conservancy projects. lock chamber is the major component of the sluice, whose security and reliability of structure is very important, so the study of calculation method is also very meaningful, the original plane hand calculation method can make the calculation to get a reasonable simplification, but it can not consider that the interaction between the various components and the soil of the lock chamber has an impact on the internal force and deformation of the chamber structure. This paper is mainly used the plane hand method and space finite element method under different forms of constraint to analyze the static and dynamic analysis of structure on Yingtang sluice, and using calculation results of different methods for comparative analysis to determine the advantages and disadvantages of the method. Main research contents and conclusions are as follows:1. This paper reviewed the research situation of lock chamber structure, with the plane hand calculation method calculating and analyzing of the Yingtang lock chamber, and checking the safety and reliability.2. According to the structural characteristics of the lock chamber, this paper put forward three computational models, are separate frame bridge model, fixed model of the underside of the lock chamber, and the soil-the lock chamber interaction model, and using ANSYS finite element software establish its three-dimensional finite element model and static analysis, then plane hand calculated results with the three spatial finite element model results are compared with each other, which come to the mechanical properties of each chamber member under different calculation methods. It can be drawn:(1) The plane hand calculated results is larger than the relative spatial finite element calculation results of internal force, plane hand calculated results are conservative, but the calculation is simple, fast;(2) Three dimensional finite element model results are compared, the frame bridge calculations of the soil and the lock chamber interaction model are minimum, the condition is closer to the model of the actual working conditions, the calculated results are more smaller and more accurate.(3) It is easy to produce stress concentration at the junction of High and low piers, the pier and bottom plate.the conventional algorithm can not be taken into account, the calculation in the design and review should take it seriously;(4) Lock chamber surrounding soil, presence stress concentration phenomenon is more pronounced, which have a negligible effect to Chamber Structure force.3. It explores the dynamic calculation and analysis methods of chamber structure. Respectively, and analyze the dynamic response on Yingtang lock chamber by using the response spectrum method and time history analysis method. It can be drawn:(1) The finite element results is smaller than the plane quasi-static calculation results. The proposed static method results are more conservative, and can not take into account in the stress concentration, but the calculation is simple and fast;(2) The time history analysis method can take into account the soil, the role of the lock chamber in contact with each other as well as the results into the elastic-plastic stage response, the calculated results relative to the proposed static method and response spectrum method results are small, partial accurate, best reflects the structure of the real force.
