| Sluice is a hydraulic structures, widespread use in hydraulic engineering. Now, in our country the design method of the sluice structure is based on separate calculating of sluice bottom board, sluice pier, overhaul temporary bridge, operating bridge, traffic bridge, not considering the influence between each component. Resulting the calculations of the sluice structure will force of the actual project has a certain deviation. So now more accurate calculation of the sluice structure is the finite element method[1], it can better reflect the integrity and authenticity of the sluice structure, can handle well the role of chamber between each component and mutual influence between the sluice chamber and foundation. Therefore, using the finite element method, considering the interaction between the various components of the sluice chamber, the sluice bottom board, sluice pier, trestle, overhaul temporary bridge, operating bridge, traffic bridge, and foundation as a whole and to establish a three-dimensional finite element model analysis of the distribution of stresses and displacements sluice structure can provide a scientific basis for the structural design of the sluice, and can play an important role in the construction of the sluice security, stability and so on.This paper base on an open-sluice for the study, first, the calculation method of design standard of sluice is used to analysis stability of the sluice chamber, second, established a three-dimensional finite element model chamber by using ABAQUS software,and makes structure and stability analysis of the sluice chamber. The main content of the full paper specific as follows:1. By reading a lot of literature, describes the research progress at home and abroad sluice structure calculations, mastered the domestic sluice structure calculation method, and the calculation of the structure of the existing problems of the sluice.2. To adopt a simplified method for calculating the sluices in completed conditions, the design flood level and check flood level, seismic and so on four kind of sluice chamber stability of the situation, and compare the four results.3. By using ABAQUS software to establish three-dimensional finite element model of sluice foundation for completed conditions, the design flood level and check flood level, seismic and so on four kind of circumstance of lock chamber stability calculation, and the four calculation results are analyzed.4. The sluice chamber stability calculation results of the two methods were compared to verify the accuracy of three-dimensional finite element model of sluice foundation of rationality and calculation results..5. According to the three-dimensional finite element model of sluice foundation, analysis the stress and displacement changes and the carrying capacity of the sluice bottom board, sluice pier, trestle, overhaul temporary bridge, operating bridge, traffic bridge, and thus the work of the state to evaluate sluice structure.6. According to an open-sluice chambers finite element analysis, showed that three-dimensional finite element method can accurately and intuitively reflect the sluice chamber space force state.
