The driver speeding is the main result in a traffic accident, it caused great losses to people’s lives and property. Currently, traffic management part is to use the designated traffic police speed, patrol car mobile speed, fixed location electronic speed detection and punishment on the driver speeding behavior, For the speed, there are some limitations, no monitoring device or traffic police on duty sections can not monitor speeding vehicles. Therefore, the design can be completed entirely on the driver speeding automatic monitoring system, not only in real time to warn the driver speeding behavior, but also real-time traffic police vehicle operating conditions, to be reduce accidents and improve traffic enforcement is of great significance. In this paper, design of a vehicle speeding automatic monitoring system based on RFID, the core idea is to set the speed limit of the road with the RFID tag, RFID reader to read a section of the speed limit at any time through the onboard system, GPS receiver speed compared to the value, such as speeding, then the drives vehicle license plate number, location, driving speed and road speed limit value is transmitted to the monitoring center. In this paper, the main contents are as follows.1.Design of the overall system. For the design of vehicle speeding automatic monitoring system based on RFID requirements for the overall planning, analysis of each module of the system design and the feasibility of the program, using RFID technology to develop the vehicle speeding automatic monitoring system overall program.2.Hardware design of vehicle speeding monitoring system. Vehicle hardware systems include power modules, the microcontroller information processing and control module, RFID speed limit value reader module, fingerprint recognition module, GPS velocity data receiver module, GPRS wireless data transmission module and LCD module.3.Software design of vehicle speeding monitoring system. Using KEIL C51as development environment, follow the modular design concept, the speed limit speed limit value acquisition by the RFID reader module, GPS data to receive the value of real-time vehicle speed and location information acquisition, fingerprint recognition fingerprint verification and feature data collection, comparison of the value of single-chip speed limit data and vehicle speed GPRS the wireless data transmission and liquid crystal display and other functions.4.Software design of Host computer monitoring center system. Using LabVIEW2010as development environment to design the monitoring center system interface, and complete the corresponding database connections and TCP network communication. Completion of the the car speeding monitoring system data from the read and real-time display and data queries, stored and modified for the speeding can achieve real-time alarm. 5.Field testing. Store a limited speed value labels affixed on the speed limit, close to the scope of the label can be activated when the vehicle monitoring device with RFID reader module, RFID reader module reads speed limit value of information stored in the tag reached the SCM system for processing, such as speeding, able to send relevant information to the monitoring center system software, and accompanied by sound and light alarm signal. The experiments show that the system can achieve wireless automatic monitoring driver speeding.
