Because of semi-rigid asphalt pavement in the process of using emergence more difficult cases, at present a lot of experts have begun to praise abroad "long-life asphalt pavement structure" in our country, grafted abroad long-life asphalt pavement structure to the semi-rigid of our country, in order to solve the semi-rigid asphalt pavement deficiencies exist. Semi-rigid asphalt pavement structure and foreign control indicators of flexible pavement structural exists large differences in the Rutting Prediction abroad using indicators that the top surface compressive strain of soil-based in the semi-rigid pavement structure is meaningless; the other semi-rigid asphalt pavement surface tensile strain can not be forecast at the end of the fatigue life of the entire structure. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out semi-rigid asphalt pavement rutting and fatigue life estimates for related research.After Europe, Denmark, Austria, the Netherlands, South Africa and other countries and regions semi-rigid collate the relevant data collection and found that these countries have researched fatigue life of semi-rigid asphalt pavement and some of the results come to the guidance of the road design, However, found that they neglect of rutting problem, there is no about Rutting Prediction in semi-rigid asphalt pavements research. In view of the status quo at home and abroad, relying on group Wuwei City, Gansu Province to ALF experimental testing ground, made suitable for heavy-duty semi-rigid base asphalt pavement structure. Necessary to do the job that a breakthrough in two respects: the pavement structure of good anti-rutting performance; improve the fatigue life of pavement structure. The two parties work in our existing norms have not yet made it clear that if we can get the substance of the conclusions will have enormous significance to our country’s highway construction.Through ALF test, mechanical computing, theoretical analysis, the semi-rigid base pavement of thin asphalt layer structure have good anti-rutting performance, and came to the semi-rigid Asphalt Pavement Rutting Prediction formula and related parameters. Through drawing on foreign semi-rigid road theory, to design an excellent structure with anti-fatigue properties above the pavement structure of anti-rutting performance.
