In the current bridge construction, road high piers and large span prestressed concrete continuous rigid frame bridge in China has been widely used because it has large cross-ability, mature technologies, economic advantages and short construction cycle.Especially in the western gully region, this form of bridge is often the first choice and widely used. But vehicle-bridge coupled dynamical analyses of these bridges are rarely been studied.At present,from the commonly used methods about vehicle-bridge coupled dynamical analysis, we can find the conclusion that the method of using the overall system vibration equation and numerical analysis software is very complicated and does not apply to the complexity of the bridge structure. Besides the method of using the finite element software don’t take full advantage of the current finite element program platform, so the analysis of complex bridge structures is limited and more complex operations are required.In light of the above background, this paper presents a new numerical analysis method of vehicle-bridge coupled vibration.Modeling vehicles and bridge in the powerful finite element software ANSYS, and according to the parameters of the vehicle model as well as the vehicle-bridge contact point displacement conditions at any time solves the interaction force between the vehicles and bridge. And then completing the coupled vibration analysis modules of vehicle-bridge in a single environment based on the ANSYS by APDL programming language. Finally the numerical solution is achieved, and the method is verified by contrast to classic references in many conditions such as uniform speed, variable speed, rough road and so on.This paper present of using this method to a high piers and large-span continuous rigid frame bridge constructed in Shaanxi Province for the futher study. When a single vehicle or vehicles through the bridge in different uniform speed,gives a comparative study of the dynamic deflection, dynamic moment, vertical acceleration of the control section and vehicle parameters such as the vertical acceleration by ANSYS.When a single vehicle through the bridge in different variable speed,gives a comparative study of the dynamic deflection,dynamic moment, vertical acceleration of the control section and vehicle parameters such as the vertical acceleration by ANSYS.
