This paper aims at studying the quickly and accurately prediction of internal flow field in the centrifugal compressor, suited engineering application. By taking flow field analysis of compressor experimental prototype and optimization adjustment of impeller as the research object, the theoretical methods, numerical simulation and testing of the automotive turbocharger centrifugal compressor was researched based on the modern design method.First, approximately parameters of volute and impeller in automotive turbocharger centrifugal compressor are determined after model analysis of prediction compressor performance model on the basis of centrifugal type runoff fan. Then, three-dimensional model of the centrifugal compressor was established based on computational simulation and analysis. Secondly, the effect of the shape of volute, the morphology and speed of impeller, the quantitative distribution on the overall performance and the effect of flow field are investigated by numerical simulation of the centrifugal compressor. And the performance and internal flow of the centrifugal compressor is analyzed in detail in order to provide evidence for optimization design the impeller. Thirdly, the analysis of resonance modes and grid quality on the impeller are studied fo further optimizing the sies of the impeller.This work about numerical calculation on the centrifugal compressor is based on new design method by comprehensive application of curved vane modeling, method modern CAD technology, resonance modes and laser rapid SLS prototyping. This paper emphatically analyzes the effect of the changes of leaf numbers and the structure of splitter blades on the flow out rate, pressure and efficiency of the centrifugal compressor. And there is difference in the structure of splitter blades and whole large blades. The process and equipment for the trial production of the prototype model of centrifugal compressor by laser rapid SLS prototyping are introduced. The numerical reliability verification of test results with testing data acquisition by experiment means is carried out. Finally, through the SLS Rapid Prototyping trial of the prototype compressor, and a prototype was test-related performance data collection, using the means test to further verify the reliability of the numerical calculation. The investigation has a significant engineering value and guiding signficance for design work of centrifugal compressor.
