Implementation Of Parallel Operation With Sequence Control Based On DCS

The Generator parallel operation is one of most operation in power plant. It will not only ensure the unit can transfer power to the power matrix, but also related to the system safety.Currently, most new power plants are using distributed control system (DCS) for plant equipment automatic control. More and more facilities & instruments are be included in the scope. From the boiler, turbine & BOP(The traditional thermo-control scope) to directly control the generator & it’s accessory equipment(including the breaker, generator, transformer, plant power supply system & etc…)So, more and more power plant requested a one-button start-up function(APS). Then the DCS system must finish the generator parallel operation automatically...
