Manure composting were conducted for this thesis to investigate the effects of differentquantities of microbial agent and sawdust on dynamics of some physical, chemical, biological parameters for maturity evaluationduring the process of composting for cow dungunder aerobic and high temperature conditions. Meanwhile, effects of the nutrient contentwere also studied. Aims to explore the function of different quantities of microbial agent andsawdust on composting process, and screen good preparation method for cow dung, for alarge number of cow dung composting fermentation, to accelerate the composting process, improve the compost quality, make it as organic matrix of soilless cultivation to promote theuse of composted cow dung in large area. There were5treatments for compostingexperiment:T1(vaccination0.5%microbial agent);T2(vaccination1%microbial agent); T3(vaccination2%microbial agent);T4(add2%sawdust); T5(CK, pure cow dung). The mainresults were summarized as follows:1. The treatments which added microbial agent and sawdust warming faster than CK,the temperature was higher, among them treatment T3and T2had better compost effectwhich early3d reach at the highest temperature than CK,the highest temperature was higher18.4℃and8.2℃than CK respectively, the high temperature maintenance time were4d and5d longer than CK; the moisture content of all treatments were declined, stability between45%~51%at last.2. In the process of composting, the pH value of all treatments were in the appropriatescope of microbial growth, reproduction and activities; EC value was risen firstly and thendeclined; The treatments which added microbial agent and sawdust had the larger E4/E6decline degree than CK, at the end of the composting, T3had the minimum value,T2tooksecond place; C/N and T value were declined with the process of composting, the treatmentswhich added microbial agent and sawdust had the larger decline degree than CK, at the endof the composting, T2had the minimum value of C/N and T value, T3had smaller value.3. Adding microbial agent and sawdust can improve seed germination index, speed upthe process of composting harmless, improve the efficiency of the composting,T3had thebest composting effect, seed germination index was89.38%, followed by T2, seedgermination index was86.87%.4. In general, in composting process, the number of bacteria in a "high-low-clam” trend; the quantity of actinomycetes overall was in a "rise-reduce" trend and fungus in a“high-low-high" change tendency.5. Adding microbial agent and sawdust can improve the degradation effect of organiccarbon in different degrees, T2had the best degradation effect, the final total organic carboncontent was14.12%, lower than CK8.96%.6. At the end of the composting, the content of total nitrogen, total phosphorus, totalpotassium, available nitrogen, available phosphorus and available potassium were increasedin different degrees than initial, especially T2was better than the rest in improving thenutrient content of composted products, T3took second place. To sum up, comprehensive analysis from three aspects: well-composted degree, thenutrient content of composted products and economic standard, the treatment T2was theoptimal treatment, in the later productive cow dung composting process, suggest addingamount of microbial agent can be based on1%appropriately reduced its consumption.
