| The effects of different microbial agents for aerobic fermentation to cow manure andcorn stalks were explored in the desert region of non-cultivated land of particular area inNorthwest Territories. The indicators of physical, chemical and biological and the dynamicsof nutrition were determined in fermentation process. The effects of different microbialagents in the composting process were explored. The pretreatment methods which weresuitable for local climate conditions of cow manure and corn stalk were screened. It wassignificant to widely popularize and use facilities agricultural organic substrate cultivation innorthwest non-cultivated area. Composting test is divided into two parts, the first part is theeffect of three different microbial agents to cow manure, and the second part is the effect tocorn straw compost. There were four treatments: The first treatment is microbial agents ofNanjing Agricultural University, the second is microbial agents of Shandong Academy, thethird is microbial agents of Gansu Academy, and the forth is CK. The main results weresummarized as follows:1. The high temperature phase is ahead of3-5d, the high temperature duration above50℃is prolonged for2-5d, the highest temperature is high of2-3℃, time needed forcooling is short of5-11d,compared to adding different microbial agents to cow dung andCK. The best effect of different microbial agents to cow manure fermentation is the thirdmicrobial agents. The degradation rate of total organic carbon was40.13%, seed germinationindex was93.80%, and the extent of humus polymerization was highest;the maximum oftotal nitrogen content was1.63%, the content of total phosphorus (P2O5) and potassium(K2O) was0.562%and1.15%adding agents3. Respectively, the pH and moisture contentwere both the appropriate range.2. The result of adding microbial agents to corn stalk aerobic fermentation showed thatthe temperature of the first treatment raised the fastest than CK. Compared with CK, thesecond treatment and the third treatment, the high temperature phase of the first treatment isahead of13d,2d and0d respectively. The moisture evaporation of fermentation to corn stalkis needed to moisturize after20d. The PH of all treatments stabilized in the range of8.09-8.12, which corresponded the standards of compost pH, and the changes were in the suitable range of aerobic microorganism; it was advantageous to the processing of compost. The best effect of different microbial agents to corn stalk fermentation was the first and thethird microbial agents. In summary, comprehensively analyzed from maturity degree, the nutrient content ofthe compost product and economic standards, the effect of inoculants3provided by GansuAcademy was best, followed by inoculants2provided by Shandong Provincial Academy ofAgricultural Sciences, then inoculants1provided by Nanjing Agricultural University foraerobic fermentation to cow manure; and inoculants1and3had the best effect in corn stalksaerobic fermentation process. Therefore, inoculants3was most suitable to high temperaturefermentation of cow manure and corn stalks, and inoculants1also could be used for aerobicfermentation of corn stalks in the desert region of non-cultivated land of NorthwestTerritories. |
