Research On The Plant Landscape Of Urban Road-Greenbelt In Chengdu City

The road-greenbelt, which is developed with the urban transportation, is an important component of urban landscape and greenbelt system, and plays an essential role in protecting and improving the environment, shaping the image of city, and making the city more beautiful. The road virescence determines the full action of the greenbelt system in terms of eco-efficiency and landscape function. It is also a crucial tache for urban ecological environment beautification and best living environment creation. In order to activate urban road space, to build a high harmony of natural and artificial environment, to form a stable plant community, and to create a beautiful road-greenbelt landscape, it is important to choose appreciate plants constructing a reasonable road-greenbelt community, in this paper we chose Chengdu urban roads as the researching objectives. By using the community methods, the current plant disposition status of Chengdu urban roads was investigated, including the community species composition, quantitative features, means of configuration, and so on. Finally through the AHP analysis, the characteristics of the current status of Chengdu urban road-greenbelt arrangement and the advantages and shortcomings of the main road in Chengdu on planting were summarized, in an attempt to provide some suggestions for future improvement and growth of the plant landscape constructions.
