Ultra-dry storage is a method that reduce the seeds moisture content below5%, and store them at ambient temperature or slightly cool conditions before seal. It can not only save energy, reduce funding, but also can get a better storage effect. But when Ultra-dry storaged seeds are soaking up water before sowing, they will always tend to produce imbibition damage. Seed imbibition damage can be effectively reduced through priming treatment, thereby enhancing the seed vitality and resistance. In China, the technology of seed ultra-dry storage and priming is widely used in the seeds of flowers and vegetables, and now, the research and application on forest seeds are relatively small. In this paper, the author choose endemic species in China-bungeana for the object, using silica gel to dehydration the seeds moisture content, and then store them at room temperature, seeds that were storaged in low-temperature are as control. Effect of ultra-dry storage and priming treament on the germination and physiological characteristics of Pinus bungeana Zucc seeds were studied and the following results were Obtained:(1) The moisture content of Bungeana seeds which are dehydrated, are positive correlated with germination capacity, enzyme activity and the content of GA3and ZR,but negatively correlated with the content of ABA and phenolic acids;(2) Compared with the seeds which were not storaged, the germination and physiological indexes of the seeds which had been storaged were all decreased to some extent, but the moisture content of3.19%seeds had the minimum decreasing; The content of phenolic inhibitory substances were increased when each moisture content of the seeds were storaged, and the content of caffeic acid and P-coumaric acid were highly correlated with the germination rate of the seeds.(3) Compared with the seeds which were not pre-humidificated, the germination ability, enzyme activity and GA3, IAA and ZR content of the seeds which were pre-humidificated were all increased, and the enzyme activity and the ability of anti-lipid oxidation is also remained at the highest level, but the content of ABA and the inhibit substances of phenolic acids were declined, and ferulic acid and salicylic acid were highly correlated with the germination rate.(4) When the ultra-dry storaged seeds which had the optimum moisture content were primed in different condition, it is found that KNO3solution which osmotic pressure is-0.3MPa plays an important role in the treatment of seed priming, thus making the effect of gibberellin on the germination of the seed become very small; And when the seeds were piming, the time and the temperature were also significantly effect the seed germination. It is proved that when the Bungeana seeds were primed in the condition of20℃and priming for24hours, the germination rate can reach to the highest level.
