The Research On Adaptability Of Qinchuan Cattle In Different Region

Through the research of growth、reproduction、morbidity and other adaptability ofQinchuan cattle and Qinchuan beef cattle industry in six different ecological condition, someconclusion could be reached as follows:The ingestion、drinking、reproduction and premunition of Qinchuan cattle can showgood adaptability in different ecological environment and situation, it declared that Qinchuancattle has become an excellent breed with better resistant character by gene combination inthe long-term evolution.The ecological condition made influence on Qinchuan cattle’s growth and development,it mainly showed that the Body length, Withers height, Chest circumference and Ischiumwidth fluctuate largely between1.5to2.5years old，the influence range gradually decreaseswith the growing. From the statistical data of cow and bull, different ecological environmentmade weak influence on bull, it illustrated that the bull Qinchuan cattle performs goodadaptability and well growth in several kinds of environment.With the research of Qinchuan beef cattle industry in shaanxi、gansu、ningxia andFujian, the investigation showed that the number of Qinchuan cattle has reached1.559million,the marketable fattened stock of Qinchuan cattle and its hybridization have reached0.6256million in shaanxi (guanzhong、shanbei and shanna). The breeding stock of Qinchuan cattleand its hybridization has achieved1.3274million in gansu (pingliang qingyang and tianshui).The number of Qinchuan cattle and its hybridization has reached0.637million，the breedingstock of beef cattle has achieved0.4857million, the underlying female cattle has reached0.2409million in the first half of2010. As the cultivation and industry of Qinchuan cattle arejust beginning, the breeding stock of beef cattle has reached6.4thousand in shaowu of Fujian.The price of Qinchuan cattle, beef, raw material of forage is still rising in survey areas,such as Shaanxi, Gansu, Ningxia, Fujian province. The price of Qinchuan cattle fluctuatedbetween13to15yuan per1kg and the price of beef fluctuated between38to42yuan per1kg. The cost of feed production rised due to the high price trend of raw material and part ofthem continuing rising. Shaanxi, Gansu, Ningxia, Fujian government has introduced a certain industry supportpolicies on Qinchuan cattle, the cows seed subsidies, loans, incentives, exemptions and otherpreferential agricultural measures were beginning to implement, all of this promote thedevelopment of Qinchuan cattle industry.There are still some problems existing in Qinchuan cattle industry, such as the poorunderstanding, unsound industry chain, weak economic foundation, serious wastage of cows,low utilization rate of forage grass. Some works are still needed to continue, includinginvesting in Qinchuan cattle industry, cultivating leading enterprises, improving the industrialchain, adjusting and optimizing the industrial regions and so on.
