| Camellia oleifera is a specific woody oil tree species in our country, together With olive oil,oil palm and coconut, is one of the four major woody oil plants of the world.To develop the camellia oleifera industry not only helps safeguard chinese grain and oil security,but also has the important reality and strategy significance in increasing farmers especially underdeveloped mountainous region farmers’income and better-off.This study select underdeveloped mountainous region of southern Zhejiang Song yang county which is the national camellia oleifera industry pilot county as a case study, treat the camellia oleifera Industrialization Development as a system, According to the statistics and analysis data of the Camellia cultivation history, construction of demonstration base, Leading Enterprise, support policy, the present situation of talent staffs of science and technology, existing problems, development trend,to find rules. The results showed that:1、Song yang county is located in mountainous region of southern Zhejiang, the geography, nature and ecological conditions suitable for Camellia oleifera growth. It has more than2,300years history of camellia cultivation and management. The county has1,705million mu of woodland area, more mountain suitable for planting camellia, at present, Camellia oleifera forest area reaches to100thousand mu, industrial development space is larger.2、As a national pilot county, Song yang county actively strive for the country project support (total amount llmillion Yuan), And through the issuance of local policy support, the introduction of improved varieties (9superior clones such as "yalin"166), demonstration of a model(construction of demonstration base15,total21,000mu), cultivation of Leading Enterprise(Zhejiang Oil-Master Co.,Ltd which is the]0powerful enterprises of china camellia oil industry, total production value2.91biliion Yuan in2010), relying on talent etc, to develop Camellia oleifera Industry,and effect is obvious. But there are some problems existed,such as insufficient attention, less high quality forest,low yield,lack of Leading Enterprise and talent, should be solved in the future development.3、In addition to continuous innovation of planting technique,we need more measures to develop Camellia oleifera Industry in underdeveloped mountainous region in view of a systematic vision,such as construction of demonstration base,leading enterprise promotion, marketing management, policy orientation and technological talents security etc. |
