Grain piles temperature inside the barn always influences food security.The mainmethod detecting grain pile temperature at present is to obtain data by using a certain numberof temperature measurement equipment. But, this method has disadvantages, such as complexstructural style, overmuch electrical element and low reliability.This article mainly analyze the temperature field in grain piles of the shandong liaochengwheat warehouse and sichuan TongLiang rice warehouse from the following aspects.1. We can draw the barn temperature variation within grain piles is mainly affected byexternal environmental impact; variation trend of the temperature is different inside andoutside of the grain piles, the temperature changes obviously in the surface of the grain piles,it’s opposite inside of the grain piles, in addition, by external environment effect is obviousarea only located in very thin section range of grain piles surface from analyse the actualtemperature in grain piles.2. Two storehouse’s finite element model has been built for finite-element analysis. Thefinite element calculation results agree with the measured results well, which shows that byusing finite element simulation granary temperature field in grain piles is feasible.3. The actual temperature curve and calculation curve can be concluded that the granaryof grain piles in temperature change gently, no mutation phenomenon.4.Using finite element method not only can be calculated at any point in the grain pilesof temperature, and can be the temperature distribution of grain piles with intuitive way, if thefinite element method and grain piles temperature testing system combines, can realize thebarn temperature monitoring digital plus visualization of control.5. Based on the heat exchange basic theory and the barn temperature detectionrequirements, present distance-time-temperature curve and the concept of time-temperature curve. With the hot physical parameters of the grain, the distance-time-temperature curve can be determined, by the curve the barn temperature sensor settingdistance and temperature testing time intervals can be estimated, which provides a referencebasis and method to determine the barn temperature sensor spacing and collection temperatureinterval.
