A2×2factorial arrangement of treatment in a randomized block design wasused to determine the effects between storage and areas on the corn. The study wasconducted to investigate the influence of physical, crumbled characteristics,conventional nutrients, of amino acid content reducing by these two factors on corn.And it would have significance for the industrial production. Arbor Acres (AA)commercial broilers (half for male and half for female) with similar body weight wereused in the study.The study of the physical and crumbled characteristics of corns showed that:there has difference of the hardness, mass and bulk density between corns stored for aperiod of time and corns harvested lately (P <0.05) and as between corns planted inDongbei area and corns planted in Huabei area. The stored time×planted areasinteraction effect on the physical and crumbled characteristics of corns was notedamong the different treatment groups.The trial of the conventional nutrients of corn samples by DM indicated that: theconventional nutrients of corns stored for a period of time were greater than cornsharvested lately(P <0.05); the conventional nutrients of corns planted in Huabeiwere are greater than corns planted in Dongbei area(P <0.05), but there was nosignificant of the corn’ crude protein content and gross energy among these two areas. The study also indicated that there was stored time×planted areas interaction effectsof crude fat and crude ash(P <0.05)but no interaction effects of crude protein andcrude fiber.The trial of the amino acids of corn samples by DM showed that: corns stored fora period of time had different histidine content form corns harvested lately(P <0.05)but other amino acids having no difference; corns‘cysteine content had differencebetween Huabei area and Dongbei area(P <0.05)but the others didn’t have. Therewas significant interaction effects of stored time×planted areas on corns histidinecontent(P <0.05), but there were no the interaction effects of others.The metabolism trial of corns’ conventional nutrients indicated that: cornsharvested lately dad a higher apparent metabolic rate of crude protein than cornsstored for a period of time(P <0.05), there were no difference about the rest ofconventional nutrients. And all the apparent metabolic rates of corns planted inHuabei area were lower than them planted in Dongbei area(P <0.05). All theapparent metabolic rates of corns conventional nutrients had no significant storedtime*planted areas interaction effects. The crude protein’s true metabolic rate of cornsstored for a period of time was lower than the corns’ harvested lately and the otherconventional nutrients’ true metabolic rates had no difference. The conventionalnutrients’ true metabolic rates were same as its apparent metabolic rates having nosignificant stored time×planted areas interaction effects.The metabolism trial of corns’ amino acids indicated that: the true metabolicrates of amino acids in corns stored for a period of time were respectively lower thanin corns harvested lately expect cysteine, tyrosine, proline, serine and isoleucine(P < 0.05). Similarly, the true metabolic rates of amino acids in corns planted in Huabeiarea were respectively lower than those planted in Dongbei area expect lysine andtyrosine(P <0.05). The apparent metabolic rates and true metabolic rates of aminoacids in corns stored for a period of time and planted in Huabei area were respectivelylower than its harvested lately and planted in Dongbei area. The true metabolic rateserine had significant stored time*planted areas interaction effect but the others hadnothing.In conclusion, there were effects of stored time and planted areas on physicalcharacteristics, crumbled characteristics and conventional nutrients of corns. Thephysical and crumbled characteristics of corns harvested lately and planted inDongbei area were better than the others;The physical and crumbled characteristics ofcorns harvested lately and planted in Dongbei area were lower than the others;Theeffects of amino acids were difference depended on itself. The broilers metabolismtrial of corns indicated:the metabolism performance of corns harvested lately andplanted in Dongbei area were better than it harvested lately and planted in Dongbeiarea.
