The effects of abiotic stress (including temperature, light, water and mechanical wounding)treatment on Cinnamomum camphora were studied, the impact of abiotic factors on PVOCs areanalyzed by dynamic headspace air-circulation method and thermal desorption system/gaschromatography/mass spectrum (TDS-GC-MS), and the effect of the abiotic stress treatment on OJIPtransient and fluorescence parameters are investigated by chlorophyll fluorescence induced kineticstechnology, and the activity of LOX in functional leaves of C. camphora seedlings after differentabiotic stress is measured, we come to the following conclusons:1. The correlation of PVOCs emission rates and patterns with abiotic stress are significant. Chillingand dark have adverse effect on PVOCs emission, such as a47.7%and20.9%reduction (compared toCK) in5℃and dark treatm ent, respectively.E m issions are decreased by31.4%com pared to C K undergreen light, and4.7%reduction under red light and12.5%reduction under blue light. During thehigh-temperature (45℃),intenselight(2200μm ol·m-2·s-1), mild drought (percent of field capacity16.2%)and after mechanical wounding for2h, patterns are increased by24、11、16and17compared to CKrespectively, emission are increased by2.32、1.09、1.43and1.37times respectively, and at the sametime the C6-C10aldehydes emissions are increased by2.7、2.2(1800μmol·m-2·s-1)、8.6and4.4timesrespectively.2. Abiotic stress often causes inactivation of oxygen evolving complex and PSII acceptor side, asreflected the appearance of clear K-step and L-step in OJIP transient, as well as ψOand φEodecreasedduring high-temperature, dark, intense light and green light. During the high-temperature (35℃),intense light (1400μmol·m-2·s-1), red light, severe drought (percent of field capacity11.9%) and aftermechanical wounding, PIABSare decreased by36.7%、55.6%、37.5%、71.1%and88.9%compared toCK respectively, but FV/Fmare decreased by10%left and right sides only, reflect PIABSis considered tobe a very sensitive index for abiotic stress.3. The activity of LOX in leaves under dark, high light, mild drought and different light qualities(red, green, blue) treatment are decreased by90.5%、76.2%、261.1%、29.6%、94.4%and25.9%respectively, and88.5%reduction in℃5treatm ent. R esults show a sign ificantly ne gative correlationbetween LOX activity and PIABSunder different abiotic stress, reflect the activity of LOX in leaves of C.camphora seedlings is involved in the damaged of PSⅡ.The above conclusions are helpful to create PVOCs emission models and evaluation system oflandscape trees, and also provide some useful experience for applying the chlorophyll fluorescenceinduced kinetics technology to landscape plants resistance research.
