Evaluation Of Rural Land Health Based On Matter-Element Model

Land is an important material basis of the human survival and development, and land is the material base and premise of sustainable development of society and economy. Too much population and the short of land is a fact of our country. Land shortage is highly serious and the quantity per capita is less than one third of the world average. The man-land contradiction is becoming increasingly remarkable. In the long process of land using, people make economic development as the primary goal, and land resources misusing has resulted in land quality and land health quality deterioration. The land under unhealth condition will seriously influences the sustainable development of the economy and the eco-safety. How to achieve land healthy and sustainable development, these problems have become an important research issue urgent. Zaoyang city is a largely agricultural area of china, and it develops agricultural primarily. And a series of land health problems emerged because of reasonless utilization of land.The rural land faces the tremendous stress. So it has great practical implementation guidance on the evaluation of rural land health.On the basis of summarizing others related study, this paper taking Zaoyang city a case,evaluate it’s rural land health. Firstly, describe the concept of land health and theories. And according the PSR framework select23indicators to establish the indicator system of Zaoyang city land health evaluation, while indicators of system is designed, and use AHP to determine weights.Then use matter-element extension model of land health evaluation and find the level of land health. The result showed that Wudian town and Xinglong town are healthy zone, Xinshi town and Taiping town are unhealthy zone, the others are sub-healthy zone. Finally, based on previous study, some practical appvoaches and measures are put forward to boost the land health level in Zaoyang in the thesis.
