The dried leaves and stem of Erodium stephanianum Willd (in Chinese named Laoguancao) can treat rheumatism, diarrhea, rheumatic arthralgia, numbness contracture, muscles aching pain and dysentery. Erodium stephanianum Will is plenty in our country, such as Shanxi, Gansu, Sichuan and other places. In foreign countries, Such as the Russian Far East, Korea and Japan; Clinically, Erodium stephanianum Will can be used to anti-inflammatory, anti-immune, anti-analgesic, especially have a good effect in the convergence of bleeding; Yunnanbaiyao is the famous traditional Chinese medicine prescription which containErodium stephanianum Will. SoErodium stephanianum Will shows a high value.Because there are many varieties of herbal medicine, which are the same as Erodium stephanianum Will belong to Erodium stephanianum Will they are quite similar, and different parts and producing areas of Erodium stephanianum Will have diverse chemical constituents and drug effects. Therefore, rapid and accurate identification method can play a significant role on guaranteeing their curative effect. Infrared spectroscopy (IR) is one of the routine means to distinguish chemical compounds and confirm material structures. In recent years, infrared spectroscopy and chemometrics technology applications in the field of traditional Chinese medicine has developed rapidly. In particular, the two-dimensional infrared correlation spectroscopy has greatly promoted the development of the Chinese herbal identification and analysis field.In this thesis, we have analysed and identified the quality of Erodium stephanianum Will via the multi-steps IR macro-fingerprint method combined with chemometrics. The main conclusions include:(1)Studies on different origins samples have shown that the identification and analysis of one-dimensional spectra and second derirative IR spectra is not good2D-IR infrared spectra can be intuitive and fast distinction. Especially three-dimensional net map is more intuitive and clear, and can be compared with the five kinds of medicinal origin samples;(2) The research of stem and leaves of samples show that one-dimensional IR spectra can identify the differences of stem and leaves of samples; we concluded that to some extent, chemical active ingredient contained in jilin samples is above the Beijing samples;(3) Study on aqueous extract of samples show that the data of two-dimensional correlation infrared spectroscopy in this region is different obviously. Tannin flavonoids and polyphenols and other active ingredients in aqueous extract of samples influenced by temperature thermal perturbation, which is consistent with the theory of Frying samples can enhance the convergence role. Then, the water extract and quercetin and gallic acid were compared; In summary, FT-IR infrared spectroscopy and chemometrics combined with multi-dimensional correlation spectroscopy in quality control of traditional Chinese medicine has a good prospect.
