The store of the food is an important part of the strategic reserve in a country. It relates tonational security and social stability. The average person has less arable land because of chinais a populous. Urbanization led to construction land increased year by year everywhere. Sothis leads to sharp drop in land. So, the food storage facilities become more important. In thecurrent, the heat can not be distributed out as the temperature is too high within the granary inthe summer. And this will make the food quality deterioration as well as infestation and so on.In order to improve the food quality, it is an effective method to food storage by undergroundgranary. It can not only save the land, but also make full use of underground space. If thetemperature is relatively low, then it can defer the deterioration of food. As the food qualityhas little change and significant temperature effect, so the underground granary can reduceenergy consumption and custody fees. Finally, it can be achieved the target of green foodStorage. It is relatively small storage capacity in the existing underground granary. As theexisting underground granary does not make full use of underground space, so it needs tobuild a large underground granary. However, little research has been done in this area. Therefore, this article mainly studies the deformation and stress distribution of theunderground granary under soil pressure.Firstly, it is based on the structural conditions of symmetrical loads and boundary.ANSYS, the finite element is used to establish a quarter of model. This program calculates theresponse of the underground granary under soil pressure. Then, the distribution ofdisplacement and stress can be analyzed. And judged if the deformation and strength to meetthe design requirements.Further, judged the influence if the wall of underground granary is applied the pullingforce of the anchor. The size and distribution of anchor is determined by calculating. And thewall of underground granary is applied the pulling force of anchor in the correspondingposition. Then, the underground granary is calculated by taking different pulling forces ofanchor. The size of the influence to the granary wall of the deformation and stress can beanalyzed by comparing the distribution of displacement and stress. Finally, Finite element model of physical soil is established considering the plasticproperties of soil. The deformation and stress of underground granary are calculated toanalyze the results. And some theoretical basis is provided for the design of undergroundgranary.
