This experiment was designed to study the effected of Marigold Lutein and Vitamin Con produce performance and egg quality and Physiological function of Roman laying hensin high temperature environment, a single factorial randomized grouping design was usedto investigate the effects of Marigold lutein level, a total of two hundred and fifty two of180-day-old Roman laying hens were randomly allotted into7treatments of4replicates of4hens, the hens in group1were controlled in the normal environment, and the broilers ingroup2were controlled in the high-temperature temperature environment, the two groupswere fed with the basic diet. The hens in group3were fed with200mg/kg of vitamin C, thehens in group4, group5, group6, group7were fed with60,120,180,240mg/kg ofMarigold lutein and200mg/kg of vitamin C, the experiments period was42days.The results of the study showed that, in the average temperature of32.05℃, theaverage84.69%humidity environment, the production performance and egg qualityserious declined, physiological function was apparent affected. In the full period ofexperiment, the feed intake of the high temperature control group reduced35.46%(P<0.01), the laying ration reduced12.79%(P<0.05), the rate of broken egg was2.52times of the normal group. The glucose and the total cholesterol reduced17.08%(P<0.05),39.07%(P<0.01), the MDA content obviously raised.Diets supplemented with an appropriate amount of MAR and VC, could mitigated ofthe damage of heat stress on laying hens, specifically in the following areas:1. Compared to the countrol group in the high temperature environment, MAR andVC could significantly improve the production performance, feed intake of the test groupswere increased by24.93%(P<0.01),25.93%(P<0.01),36.59%(P<0.01),28.60%(P<0.01),40.72%(P<0.01), the compoundⅡand Ⅳgroup laying rate increased by13.86%(P<0.01),22.71%(P<0.01), the broken shell rate of the test groups were also decreasedsignificantly.2. The VC group and the MAR-VC mixture groups were significantly improve theeggshell thickness in the high-temperature environments, also significantly improved theRCF value、red degrees (a~*), yellowness degree (b~*) of the egg yolk, reduce the brightness(L), as well as improved the lutein and IgG content in egg yolk, showed a dose relationship.3. The MAR-VC mixture significantly enhanced the antioxidant and immune functionof the laying hens in the high temperature environments. Compared with the hightemperature control group the serum MDA content of compound II, III, IV decreased by222.7%(P<0.01),180.45%(P<0.01),85.98%(P<0.01), the GSH-Px activity of compoundII group was significantly increased9.82%(P<0.05). The IgG content of the VC group andthe compound groups, descending arranged in the order: compound group Ⅲ> compoundIV group> VC> compoundⅠgroup> compound group Ⅱ> the control group in the hightempreture envionment. In this study, the following conclusions:1. The VC and MAR-VC mixture could be significantly improved feed intake and thelaying rate of laying hens in the high temperature environment, also the shell thicknesscould be increased, reduced the rate of broken shell.2. MAR-VC mixture could be significant increase the RCF value, red degree (a~*),yellowness (b~*), improved the lutein and IgG content in yolk.3. MAR-VC mixture could improve the antioxidant and immune function of layinghens in the high temperature environment.Comprehensive consideration, the120mg/kg MAR-200mg/kg VC was the bestrecommended formula amount.
